2008 Calendar
Our annual dinner was a fantastic success thanks to Commodore Al and his Lady Nan and Treasurer/Fleet Captain Len and his Lady Janet. Others helped as well. Yearly awards were presented with Al Suydam winning the season 1st Place, the Commodore's Cup and was acknowledged for his two national championships in the Vintage 36 and Vintage Marblehead classes. The lovely Kay McClellan was presented with a lifetime SIMBC membership. Her past involvement along with her future participation is and will be cherished. As Al indicated, we now need to focus on the National Regatta scheduled for September 2009. Let there be no doubt, this will be a major production benefitting the Calvert Marine Museum, SIMBC, the community and all of the participants. People will be here from all over the country. We will need help. Please volunteer! Happy Holidays!!
